Powerhouse stand up Connor Burns has been making waves in his native Scotland. Big waves. Waves so big, in fact, he has surfed down to England on them!  Named as Best Newcomer in the Scottish Comedy Awards in both 2019 and 2020, Connor’s meteoric rise was stalled by lockdown meaning he ”had to drive a f*cking delivery van for nine months”.

Hilarious, Scottish-level cynicism and self-deprecation are what set Connor apart and have seen him support Daniel Sloss, Tom Stade, Gary Meikle and Larry Dean on their recent tours.

“Absolutely cracking” The Stand   “Highlight of the night!” Chortle

Ten years since winning the BBC New Comedy Award, things have been going rather well for Steve Bugeja ( ‘Boo-Jay_Ah‘ seeing as you asked). His jokes and stories have taken him right around the globe with Melbourne, Australia being a particular hot spot for Bugeja fans.

Steve’s no stranger to the small screen either with appearances including The Russell Howard Hour, Love Island: Aftersun, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Zoe Ball on Saturday as well as a couple of appearances on Australian telly.

Steve’s humour is very much in demand behind the scenes too, he’s head writer for Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility as well as contributing gags to The Russell Howard Hour, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and BBC Radio 4. He also co-created and co-wrote the ITV sitcom Buffering.

Fun fact: Steve’s cousin was the prime minster of Malta.

“Bugeja has an eye for original comic detail that’s all his own.’” The Guardian

“Plentiful jokes and compelling storytelling” The Scotsman

Currently on a UK tour with his new show ‘Stuff And Nonsense‘, Alun Cochrane is one of Britain’s funniest and most original comics, Alun appeared on everything from Have I Got News For You to 8 Out Of 10 Cats and you can hear him every Saturday on Frank Skinner’s Radio show.

“Big belly laughs” The Guardian “Master storyteller” Metro

Your evening is completed by reigning South Coast Comedian Of The Year James Ellis
