From Malawi to Britain via Canada, former refugee Daliso Chaponda has appeared on everything from QI to Britain’s Got Talent, from the Royal Variety Performance to his own, critically acclaimed Radio 4 series. A bold, fearless and energetic performer who very nearly became a vicar, but that’s a different story for another time…

“Had the audience in stitches” The Sun ‘An expert entertainer.’ The Guardian

Warwickshire’s Josh Pugh had been telling jokes to strangers for less than two years when he was named English Comedian of the Year and ended up briefly touring Australia as a result! Josh’s warm but slightly weird style has won him fans on both sides of the planet ever since and he once wrote a full length show about the time he got stuck in a puffa jacket. For two days.

If you have ever wondered who was behind Twitter’s @GrassrootsCoac5 cult account then you need look no further than Josh. In fact, his spin off book; ‘Grassroots: A Step Dad’s Quest For Silverware’ is now available on Amazon. Surely someone with this level of commitment has a podcast? Loads, mate.

And when he’s not reducing audiences to howls of laughter. podcasting, winning awards, running Twitter or writing books about it, how does Josh wind down? Well, he just plays football for England’s Partially Sighted team and has played in three World Championships!

Look. He’s very funny. Promise. Come and see him.

‘Wonderfully off-kilter… Pugh proves that semi-surrealism is alive and well’ The List ‘Ceaselessly impressive’ Joe.co.uk

Chorlton Comedy Club and Manchester Comedy Store favourite Mick Ferry will be compering and this makes us very happy. Mick approaches every show with exactly the same philosophy (he wants the audience to carry him out on their shoulders, then build a statue to him) and it shows! Mick has won awards for both his compering and his sets and is second to none when it comes to knocking up a hilarious routine from an audience suggestion or whatever pops into his very manic mind.

“See him or regret it” John Bishop “Absolute legend” Jason Manford

Jenny Hart is currently making a name for herself up and down the country so, why not get her in for look, thought we? “Lively musical comedy that can be joyously wrong and infinitely dirty, lusciously dark and often quite flirty” is what’s in store apparently!

We want all our guests to have a great night so we ask you to consider those around you by putting your mobile on silent and not talking when the comedians are on stage. Thanks!
