He’s also been described as “Nasty\, offensive and dangerous” by National Student so take your pick! \nTen years since his BBC New Comedy Award win\, things have been going rather well for Steve Bugeja ( ‘Boo-Jay_Ah‘ seeing as you asked). His jokes and stories have taken him right around the globe with Melbourne\, Australia being a particular hot spot for Bugeja fans. \nSteve’s no stranger to the small screen either with appearances including The Russell Howard Hour\, Love Island: Aftersun\, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Zoe Ball on Saturday as well as a couple of appearances on Australian telly. Steve’s humour is very much in demand behind the scenes too\, he’s head writer for Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility and co-created and co-wrote the ITV sitcom Buffering.  Fun fact: Steve’s cousin was the prime minster of Malta. \n“Bugeja has an eye for original comic detail that’s all his own.” The Guardian  “Plentiful jokes and compelling storytelling” The Scotsman \nYorkshire’s Scott Bennett owes a certain amount of his success to Covid! As lock down decimated the UK entertainment industry Scott refused to cave in and Stand Up From The Shed was born. This was quickly picked up by BBC News\, Sky News and Five Live\, further increasing Scott’s fan base. \nThe return to normality has been even better for Scott.
