Rob Rouse‘s career has seen him encompass pretty much everything from presenting Channel 4’s The Friday Night Project, to appearing in the West End to teaching geography. We would like to point out that this isn’t in chronological order. Rob’s a one man comedy whirlwind who drags the audience into his craftily spun tall tales with bucketfuls of manic energy, first class stage craft, eerily convincing characterisations and a barrage of hilarious one liners.
“Guaranteed to lighten even the darkest of moods” ★★★★★ Edinburgh Evening News
“A delirious but hilarious man” ★★★★★ The List
Something of a comedy god in his native Scotland, the superbly sweary Raymond Mearns combines razor sharp observations with blinding improvisation and audience interaction to produce the most memorable comedy you are every likely to see. As well as performing stand up, Raymond has acted in everything from two films with legendary director Ken Loach to the Cheesy Strings advert.
“Every line that issues from this man is funny” Chortle “A genuine improvisational genius” Frankie Boyle
Tamworth’s Jules O’Brian performs at venues and festivals around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating. She is TalkTalk’s official voice – chosen by none other than the legend Bernard Cribbins – and her silly writings feature frequently in magazines including Prima and MamaLife. This former teacher’s relaxed and chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.
