Comedy @ Whip & Kitten, Rawtenstall

Sorry but this show is now fully sold out. Justin Moorhouse (Stretch & Think) and Paul Sinha (One Sinha Lifetime) preview their 2022 Edinburgh Fringe before heading up the M6.  No compere, no middle act, just two, full length shows from two of Britain’s funniest comedians. Preview shows are works in progress.

Comedy @ Whip & Kitten is booked by Comedy In A Van and the gig is in the cosy confines of The Whip & Kitten’s upstairs function room. The Whip & Kitten serve cocktails with a strong focus on drink quality; craft products and housemade specialities.  Don’t worry if cocktail’s ain’t your thing, the W&K serve a fine pint too.

Acts subject to change. Proper swearing. 18+ Fully seated. We want everyone to have a great night so pop your mobile on silent and please don’t talk when the show is on. Sorry, but we can only refund or reallocate in event of the show being cancelled. Thanks!

Justin Moorhouse : Stretch & Think Justin is back: still funny, yet middle-aged. A brand-new show that may contain: yoga, getting older, Madonna, shoplifters, labradoodles, middle-aged cyclists, the menopause, running, hating football fans but loving football, not drinking, funerals; Is tapas a rip off?

Captain Tom, Droylsden, the environment, self-improvement, ruining a sexual position, electric car charging spots used by doggers, nursery graduation, horses, Stig lookalikes, home-cooked food but not in your own home, the odd advantages of fundamental religions,
the gym, shop-door etiquette. And he’s got a new suit. Come, it’ll be fun

“He charms the pants off the crowd” Sunday Times

The amount of first-rate comic craft that goes into his routines is worthy of admiration” The Guardian

Paul Sinha : One Sinha Lifetime In January 2020, Paul embarked on a national tour, his most ambitious show combining stand-up, music, hula-hooping and tales of romantic validation and neurological degeneration. As it turned out 2020 proved to be the wrong year to embark on a national tour. For everyone.

Undeterred, Paul returns, with the difficult second post-diagnosis album. Expect jokes and surprises. Paul has a story to tell. And an absolute banger of a title.

‘The stories are told with a constant light-touch wit… Parkinson’s hasn’t robbed him of his ability to do stand-up, it’s enhanced it’ ★★★★ Chortle
