Mark Nelson’s mix of dark humour, cutting observations and superb one-liners have seen him firmly established as one of the UK’s biggest-hitting comedy powerhouses. With a likeable manner on stage belying some of the stronger content, Nelson often has audiences laughing at things they know they really shouldn’t be laughing at. Markus Birdman’s dad is a real life vicar and his uncle is a bishop. Neither of these facts have any bearing on his comedy whatsoever but we have been booking him for years and he smashes it every single time. And, yes, he is the guy from BGT.

Compere for the evening is former tattoo artist and host of the Mid High podcast Dean Coughlin.  Dean’s easy, affable style has wowed festival crowds as far afield as New Zealand and Australia.  Closer to home, Dean has supported fellow Liverpudlians Adam Rowe and Paul Smith on their UK tours.
