He was cruelly beaten into third place by a ventriloquist and a Donny Osmond impersonator. You can’t keep a good man down though and Steve’s love of making people laugh rivals that of his affections for Liverpool FC and Elvis Costello. Steve puts absolutely everything he has got into every single gig he does. Sweat drips as he hammers out short\, sharp satirical songs that strike chords throughout the room. If it’s in the news\, he’s written something rapturously funny about it\, slaughtering sacred cows with deft musicianship and crowd slaying wit. No one can count themselves as a true comedy fan until they have seen Steve Gribbin.
