Duncan Oakley, Paul Pirie, Tal Davies and MC Jamie Sutherland Scroll down for comedians’ details.
Duncan Oakley’s musicianship is enough to impress event the most cynical of crowds but, once combined with his stand up comedy, he’s in a league of his own. Expect silliness, surrealism, surprises, big, big laughs and rocking tunes from British comedy’s best loved axeman.
“Pure brilliance” Yorkshire Evening Post
Once famously described as “Spewing out one-liners like he had just scoffed a dodgy prawn” by the Daily Record, Aberdonian Paul Pirie‘s brand of high energy lunacy puts him very firmly in the Robin Williams school of comedic performance. Everyday tales of domestic mishap are vividly brought to life by Pirie’s manic antics. Be prepared for the unexpected and some very silly noises too.
“Hilarious rubber-faced clown” The Scotsman
By comparison, Tal Davies is very much the new kid on the block but she definitely won’t look out of place amongst even the most seasoned of pros. Tal’s views on personal hygiene and newborn babies are, at best, unconventional but you will soon be bathed in waves of laughter by this hilarious Brummie.
2021 Midlands Comedy Awards. Best Breakthrough Act
Liverpool’s Jamie Sutherland left the crazy, crazy world of being a financial adviser. Like some sort of comedic Swiss Army knife, Jamie utilises gags, tales, and observations to win over the crowd and, should you prefer a good old fashioned gag, he has plenty of those up his well tailored sleeve too. If you have ever been treated to corporate hospitality at an Everton FC home game then it was Jamie who kept you entertained.
