George’s Comedy Club, Blackburn
Gavin Webster, Bethany Black, Rich Spalding, MC Mick Ferry all at Blackburn’s longest running comedy club Scroll down for comedians’ details.
Gavin Webster’s style of comedy is loud, sharp and controversial – and audiences love him for it. A definite Geordie, Gavin has superb stage presence. His material is bold and provocative yet delivered in a charming manner – which has brought him much praise and attention.
‘Surreal genius’ The Stage
Well, where do we start when it comes to Bethany Black? We could tell you that Chorley’s funniest daughter is Britain’s only goth, lesbian, transsexual comedian but that was fully covered in her debut show – ‘Beth Becomes Her’. This is all well and good but just how funny is she? Oh, don’t worry about that as the answer is ‘very’. Awards include winning the 2020 Joe.co.uk comedy award and she is British Comedy Guide recommended.
“Laughing at every other word” ★★★★★ LGBT Arts Review “A great comedy mind” British Comedy Guide
Mick Ferry is, quite simply, the best MC working in the UK today. Whether he’s running with a scatterbrained idea, an audience suggestion or dipping into his extensive mental files of absolute, top drawer gags and routines, the end result is a barrage of laughter from a very happy audience and that is what we are all about.
“See him or regret it” John Bishop ★★★★★ Mirror
Rich Spalding completes another excellent evening!
