One of the few comics able to play to any audience without compromising on his material, Dave Longley can delight a hen party and the comedy connoisseur on the same night. on the one hand, abrasive, crude and insulting and on the other, articulate, intelligent, charming and disarmingly funny. Longley’s towering stage presence and intensity, combined with his cutting wit have made him one of the most popular circuit comics in the UK, whether it’s doling out thought-provoking insights or revelling in toilet humour, Longley is a gifted wordsmith with great audience interaction skills.
“Highly original and bloody funny” Three Weeks “Intelligent, silly, thought-provoking and filthy” Metro
One man comedic whirlwind Jack Gleadow first came to national attention when he won the 2018 Mercury Comedian of the Year, following in the hallowed footsteps of Manford, Vegas and Ranganathan. With energy that would shame an amphetamine addled Redcoat, Jack utilises every trick in the book; gags, cheesy pop, props, stories, advertising jingles and even a scooter to decisively win over the stoniest of’ hearts.
“A natural born performer” ★★★★ I Talk Telly “Has you laughing at every angle” ★★★★ Fresh Fringe
Who better to compere the show than the deliciously manic Phil Ellis? Phil’s hysterically funny and downright wrong kid’s show – Funz And Gamez was so funny the Edinburgh Fringe people had to create a prize for it. He’s also written and performed in three of his own Radio 4 series alongside Johnny Vegas, Lee Mack and the late, great Sean Lock.
‘Much cleverer and much more stupid than you might think’. ★★★★ Chortle ★★★★★ The Scotsman ★★★★ The Guardian ★★★★ Times
Liverpool’s Eddie Fortune takes the middle spot. The comedians you see at Lymm Comedy Club are booked by Comedy In A Van
