Vancouver’s Glenn Wool reached these shores in the mid-Nineties and, much to the disdain of lesser comedians, it looks like he’s here to stay. When not at home in his adopted Essex, Wool consistently sells out shows at the world’s biggest comedy festivals and has appeared on numerous TV shows.Topical, engaging, opinionated but never preachy and, of course, downright hysterically funny, Glenn is a surefire hit in front of any audience.

Bolton’s very own Chris Kehoe utilises his intuitive intellect and acerbic wit to engage audiences with material that is both clever and laugh out loud funny. He is a unique comedy voice, mixing the topical with the surreal in a hilarious deadpan style. Tackling racism, climate change and his utter bafflement at the state of the world he has provided tour support for Geoff Norcott and Paul Sinha.

Irrepressibly chirpy, often filthy and fabulously funny, failed drama student Lou Conran (‘I was told off for not taking acting too seriously‘ ) has made quite the name for herself both domestically and on the international circuit.  Lou’s boundless energy and instinctive wit make her a natural compere. It’s a sign of her broad appeal that she can delight the metal heads of Download festival as well as the slightly more genteel listeners of Radio 4 Extra’s Comedy Club
