SUMMARY:Octagon Comedy Club\, Bolton
DESCRIPTION:Christian Reilly\, Joey Page\, Bas Rahman and MC Chris Brooker at Octagon Comedy Club\, Bolton Please scroll down for comedians’ details.\n\nActs subject to change. Proper swearing. 18+ Fully seated. We want everyone to have a great night so pop your mobile on silent and please don’t talk when the show is on. Sorry\, but we can only refund or reallocate in event of the show being cancelled. Thanks!\n \nChristian Reilly joined a band to get laid but The Salvation Army had different ideas…  Formerly part of Rich Hall’s Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars\, Christian’s career has taken him around the world three times. On his way\, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA\, Australia\, New Zealand and Britain. Now a solo stand-up performer\, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands\, musical theatre and morose indie musicians.   \n“The funniest songs I Have heard in a long time” The Scotsman ★★★★ Three Weeks ★★★★ Broadway Baby \nJoey Page was something of a cult comic\, a hit at comedy festivals around the globe and popped up on Never Mind The Buzzcocks in it’s BBC 2 days. Now\, there’s little better for a performer’s ego and reputation than being a cult but it can be tricky to pay those bills. Joey spent lockdown working on something more accessible and has struck the perfect pitch between ‘old’ Joey’s niche appeal and the instant\, big laughs modern audiences expect. A stunningly original funnyman at the height of his game. \n“Laugh-out-loud” ★★★★ Australia Times ★★★★★ Three Weeks \nMC Chris Brooker’s infectious energy and enthusiasm sweeps through a room like an irresistible force. Chris’ combination of hilarious\, original material and inspired improvisation means that you will never see the same routine twice. Immensely likeable\, there’s no doubting his ability to win over any crowd and drag them along for the ride. \n“On the spot humour”  BBC  “Best act of the night…  ..plenty of laughs.’ Manchester Evening News \nBas Rahman takes the middle spot. The comedians you see at Octagon Comedy Club\, Bolton are booked by Comedy In A Van \nChristian Reilly\, Joey Page\, Bas Rahman and MC Chris Brooker at Octagon Comedy Club\, Bolton Friday 6 September 2024 (C) Comedy In A Van
