Phil Chapman‘s playful brand of comedy both charms and engages. Phil blends anecdotes and observations with a healthy dose of banter. A happy-go-lucky style, occasionally bordering on the mischievous has won over delights audiences across the nation.A prolific gag smith, Phil’s material is both fresh and topical and he has written for both BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. His smash hit single Slogans (in collaboration with DJ Hans Face Space), was released to great fanfare during the pandemic.
‘An instant hit‘ Liverpool Echo
Joey Page was something of a cult comic, a hit at comedy festivals around the globe and popped up on Never Mind The Buzzcocks in it’s BBC 2 days. Now, there’s little better for a performer’s ego and reputation than being a cult but it can be tricky to pay those bills. Joey spent lockdown working on something more accessible and has struck the perfect pitch between ‘old’ Joey’s niche appeal and the instant, big laughs modern audiences expect. A stunningly original funnyman at the height of his game.
“Laugh-out-loud” ★★★★ Australia Times ★★★★★ Three Weeks
If you’re not in the market to have your day brightened, a smile firmly planted on your face, or an additional spring in your step then you might want to give Catherine Young a miss! This Middlesbrough lass explodes onto the stage with enough energy to boil your kettle and then some. Lunges, homespun philosophies and bare faced cheek all come served with an enormous sense of fun and contagious laughter. Unmissable.
