Quite possibly the only half-Turkish, gay Geordie on the circuit, Louise Young has a solid reputation for delivering formidable comedy clout. Her laid back style, warmth and wonderfully crafted, razor sharp jokes have seen her becoming in great demand in the comedy clubs as well as hosting the BBC’s weekly Grin Up North Show. Louise was nominated for ‘Best Show’ in the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and regularly supports both Jason Manford and Alan Carr on their UK tours.
