SUMMARY:Off The Rails Comedy Club\, Saddleworth May 2026 4pm
DESCRIPTION:We are 25 years old this month and are celebrating with Paul Smith (‘Like a pop star’s homecoming‘ The Guardian)\, Mark Steel (‘Steel’s rapier wit cuts to the chase‘ The Observer  ‘Excellent stand up‘  The Times)\, Seeta Wrightson (‘Taking the comedy circuit by storm‘ Yorkshire Evening Post) and MC Justin Moorhouse (QI\, Coronation Street\, Celebrity Mastermind\, Live At The Apollo etc) at Off The Rails Comedy Club Saddleworth in June 2026 Scroll down for comedians details. \nINVITE YOUR FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK \nActs subject to change. Fully seated. 18+ Proper sweary\, swearing. We want everyone to have a great night so please pop your phone on silent and don’t chat whilst the show is in progress. Thanks! Sorry\, but we can only reallocate or refund if the show is cancelled.\n \nWe gave Paul Smith his first ever paid gig about twenty years ago and he then decided to become MASSIVE! Following sold-out stadium runs and viral success across the globe\, Paul’s trademark crowd work\, razor-sharp observations\, and laugh-out-loud true stories elevate comedy to a new level. This is stand-up at full throttle: fast\, fearless\, and relentlessly funny. \n‘Like a pop star’s homecoming’ The Guardian \nIt may have taken us 25 years but\, we finally got Mark Steel! The Sony and Writers’ Guild Award-winning writer and comedian is best known for his critically acclaimed BBC Radio 4 show Mark Steel’s in Town. Mark has presented the BAFTA-nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC Two and is a regular on BBC One’s Have I Got News for You and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz. He has also written several acclaimed books\, including: Reasons To Be Cheerful and What’s Going On. \n‘He’s a man with a passionate desire to communicate his ideas\, who is also very funny’  The Guardian \n‘Steel’s rapier wit cuts to the chase’ The Observer  ‘Excellent stand up’  The Times  \nEver since Day One we have proudly championed new and emerging talent. For our 25th we have carried that on by booking two of the acts who have impressed us the most on the last couple of years. Bradford’s Seeta Wrightson certainly fits that bill. From humble (AKA very skint) beginnings growing up in Bradford\, Seeta has wandered through life wondering where exactly she fits and has had a hell of an adventure figuring it out. And it is a never-ending stream of ridiculousness that provides the fodder for her comedy. Seeta made her TV debut on the BBC New Comedy Awards back in 2022 and has recenbtly supported Kiri Pritchard-Mclean on tour.  \n‘Taking the comedy circuit by storm‘ Yorkshire Evening Post \nJustin Moorhouse headlined our second ever show and he’s been popping back regularly ever since. If you haven’t seen him here\, then you may well have caught him on tour\, at The Comedy Store\, on QI\, Coronation Street\, Celebrity Mastermind\, Live At The Apollo\, Dave’s One Night Stand or even Phoenix Nights (ask your mum!)\, you’ll know why he is constantly in demand as one of the UK’s funniest performers. Peerless performance skills backed by an arsenal of carefully crafted routines and tightly written gags make Justin a surefire success in front of any audience as thousands of fans will gladly testify. \n“If good old-fashioned joke-telling is your thing\, then Justin Moorhouse is your man” Fest \n Off The Rails Comedy Club is programmed\, promoted and produced by Comedy In A Van and held at The Royal George\, Greenfield. \nSunday 31 May sees Paul Smith\, Mark Steel and Justin Moorhouse celebrate 25 years of Off The Rails Comedy Club\, Saddleworth

SUMMARY:Glossop Comedy Club May 2026
DESCRIPTION:Glossop Comedy Club in May 2026 with Liverpool’s Simon Wozniak (“Star in the making” Time Out)\, Glenn Wool (“Why aren’t you in a queue somewhere buying a ticket?” Scotsman)\,  Aaron Wood and MC Alex Boardman (‘Double funny’ Shaun Ryder) at  the Crystal Ballroom\, Glossop. Scroll down for comedians’ details. \nINVITE YOUR FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK \n\nActs subject to change. Fully seated. 18+ Proper sweary\, swearing. We want everyone to have a great night so please pop your phone on silent and don’t chat whilst the show is in progress. Thanks! Sorry\, but we can only reallocate or refund if the show is cancelled. \nSimon Wozniak’s honest\, inimitable\, no holds barred opinions on the world and frenetic and opinionated style have seen him rise phenomenally through the comedy ranks. Cheerfully self-deprecating\, Simon is confident with joke structure and can use his skills to present unpredictable punchlines which take the wind out of his audience! \n“Star in the making” Time Out  “Cleverly off-beat” Independent \n\nVancouver’s Glenn Wool reached these shores in the mid-Nineties and\, much to the disdain of lesser comedians\, it looks like he’s here to stay. When not at home in his adopted Essex\, Wool consistently sells out shows at the world’s biggest comedy festivals and has appeared on numerous TV shows. Topical\, engaging\, opinionated but never preachy and\, of course\, downright hysterically funny\, Glenn is a surefire hit in front of any audience. \n“Why aren’t you in a queue somewhere buying a ticket?” Scotsman  “Effortlessly funny” Guardian   “Absolutely hilarious” Independent \nMC Alex Boardman cut his comedic teeth on the burgeoning Manchester scene with sets at the Frog & Bucket often followed by an all nighter at The Hacienda! Family life may have tempered the inner wild child but it’s certainly added to both the maturity and the relatability of his stand up. A gifted gag smith\, Alex writes for a lot of big names and TV shows including John Bishop\, A Question Of Sport and many we’re not allowed to say! \n“A great comic” Sarah Millican “Double funny” Shaun Ryder \n\n\nYour evening comes complete with Aaron Wood. \n\nThe comedians you see at Glossop Comedy Club are booked by Comedy In A Van Glossop Comedy Club May 2026 \nGlossop Comedy Club on Sunday 31 May 2026 with Simon Wozniak\, Glenn Wool\, Aaron Wood and MC Alex Boardman (C) Comedy In A Van
