As well as being a much in demand comedian\, he has penned several books on his first love of football including ‘Tear Gas And Ticket Touts’ and the ‘Hooligan’ series (alongside brother Dougie). Eddy is also an accomplished actor who has popped up in everything from Casualty to Absolutely Fabulous. He also played the arsonist who torched Frank Butcher’s business in East Enders and you don’t get much more geezer than that! \n“Quite simply brilliant” Sky         “The crowd loved him” The Guardian \nWell\, where do we start when it comes to Bethany Black? We could tell you that Chorley’s funniest daughter is Britain’s only goth\, lesbian\, transsexual comedian but that was fully covered in her debut show – ‘Beth Becomes Her’. \nAs well as making people laugh a lot\, Beth was spotted by Russell T Davis and played ‘Helen’ in Channel 4 series’ Cucumber\, Banana and Tofu. \nWe could also tell you Beth is a bit of nerd and something of a Doctor Who fan but\, how many Whovians can claim to have appeared in the show? Beth did in 2015 when she played 474. \nThis is all well and good but just how funny is she? Oh\, don’t worry about that as the answer is ‘very’. Not just a folk musician but one good enough to make a living out of it. A bloody good folk musician. An accomplished folk musician. \nThe crazy\, crazy bad ass world of folk has it’s downside though and when the cocaine and groupies got too much David bailed out and parachuted safely into stand up comedy. And\, guess what? He’s a bloody good comic too. David has some class gags\, routines and songs (well\, if you already own an accordion you might as well do something with it.) and hardly even mentions folk music. The decade when there was nothing to be done but party\, and Shaparak found herself flying about London with hope in her heart\, a tenner in her pocket and spare knickers in her handbag. She matched the boys pint-for-pint and frequently woke up in parts of London she’d never heard of. With hindsight though\, the way people behaved back then looks like the ultimate in self harm. In those days\, ‘mindfulness’ was making sure you had enough money for the night bus and ‘self care’ was putting your flat shoes in a handbag.
