He was cruelly beaten into third place by a ventriloquist and a Donny Osmond impersonator. By his late teens\, Steve was fifty per cent of comedy duo Skint Video just as something called ‘alternative comedy’ was beginning to infuriate the tabloids..\nAll good things come to an end and Skint Video was no different. Steve got custody of the guitar and metamorphosised into the comedy circuit’s most prolific and productive performer. \n‘A highly refreshing and original comic. Hilarious!’ The Scotsman   ‘Pulls it off with real aplomb.’ The Independent \nStephen Bailey\, (Live at the Apollo\, Celebrity Mastermind\, Takeshi’s Castle etc) is a proud Northern\, working class\, gay man. Although best known as a TV presenter it’s the arena of live\, stand up comedy where Stephen really shines. A first rate comedy act with unashamed vaudevillian echoes. A highly skilled juggler\, Steve holds the official world records for balancing a Christmas tree on his chin and an ironing board on his foot.
