Thanks! \nDescribed as a “a brilliant comedian” by none other than Peter Kay\, Steve Royle has had a career that has spanned everything from the Royal Variety Performance\, to Phoenix Nights to coming third on Britain’s Got Talent. A first rate comedy act with unashamed vaudevillian echoes. A highly skilled juggler\, Steve holds the official world records for balancing a Christmas tree on his chin and an ironing board on his foot. Much as we love Steve\, we do sometimes worry about him. \n“Comedy masterclass” The Stage “Absolutely killed me” Ashley Banjo \nDespite starting stand-up at the tender age of eighteen\, Matt Richardson was soon a finalist in various competitions\, won several new act awards and this led to regular appearances at the bigger comedy clubs. It was Matt’s first full length show that kick started career moving when ‘Hometown Hero’ was named ‘Best New Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival. \nThe TV execs were quick to notice Matt’s talents and he replaced Olly Murs as host on ITV2’s ‘The Xtra Factor’ (alongside Caroline Flack) which led to a nationwide tour of ‘Hometown Hero’ which covered 54 dates. \nTV includes Never Mind The Buzzcocks\, Celebrity Juice\, Sweat The Small Stuff\, Celebrity Squares\, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Now\, there’s little better for a performer’s ego and reputation than being a cult but it can be tricky to pay those bills. Joey spent lockdown working on something more accessible and has struck the perfect pitch between ‘old’ Joey’s niche appeal and the instant\, big laughs modern audiences expect. Thanks \nStrolling onto stage like a missing Gallagher brother\, Oxfordshire’s Matt Bragg first picked up a mic in 2015 and quickly found his distinctive style. Matt’s ultra laid back delivery makes everything look oh so easy and his timing utilises pauses that would make Pinter wince. There’s a definite hint of Frank Skinner in Matt’s overall rhythm too and what’s wrong with that? Style over substance can work in comedy but Matt has substance in buckets. Tightly crafted gags and routines whose punchlines steer well clear of the lazy or obvious are just another reason audiences love him. \nStand up comedy courses through Matt’s veins (he’s the son of renowned TV warm up man\, Bobby) and regularly writes for fellow comics\, television\, radio and social media campaigns. Currently supporting Ricky Gervais on tour\, Matt has also supported Harry Hill\, Clinton Baptiste and Soccer AM’s Lloyd Griffith. Thanks \nAndrew Bird‘s fledgling steps into comedy began an under aged drinker in a Northampton pub\, eliciting laughter from ‘the lads’ in the tap room.  \nAn unsuccessful stint at art collage was followed by a more successful stint at working in a factory but he really missed the tap room bantz. London called and\, once again\, he had the pub regulars laughing but was also performing short spots on The Big Smoke’s legendary open mic circuit.  \nYears of hard graft up and down the country\, a multitude of Edinburgh appearnces and wrote on various TV shows menat he could now marry\, buy a car\, a house and even afford some children\, just in time for the worst recession in living memory.  \nAll the above has forged his mildly grumpy\, slightly stressed and bemused style of performance which not only make him stand out from the comedy masses but will\, no doubt\, contribute to an untimely death. \nAndrew has written for Jason Manford\, Matt Lucas and Jon Richardson and provided tour suupport for Michael McIntyre\, Mickey Flanagan and Rob Rydon. \n“Comedy gold The Scotsman “Funny\, likeable and effortless”  Time Out    ‘Made me laugh every night’ Michael McIntyre \nJamie Hutchinson‘s horrible dating past\, humiliating anecdotes\, and perpetual singledom may sound more suited to a counselling session but\, in the hands of this naturally funny craftsman make for a painfully funny set. \nManc\, ginger and proud\, brace yourself for a full frontal comedic assault when Jamie unsheathes the mic form it’s stand. Eddy is also an accomplished actor who has popped up in everything from Casualty to Absolutely Fabulous. In fact\, you might be mistaken for thinking the venue’s bouncer has just decided to give this stand up comedy lark a go.  \nAppearances aren’t everything though and\, as soon as Gary hits his stride\, you will be enjoying a deftly skilled comic and story teller with a veritable library of side-splitting stories to tell.  \nNothing is off topic for Gary\, whether it’s something as mundane as dog walking etiquette\, as comically ambitious as his own depression or even the occasions he has spent pleasuring Her Majesty (His 2009 show ‘He’s Only Jail Gay’ was a hit at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe) you can rst assured he will make it devastatingly funny. \n“Might look as though he could tear the head off a pitbull while cracking walnuts with his eyelids\, but is\, on stage\, warm to the point of endearing… This man is a born raconteur” The Scotsman \n‘Tears were streaming down my face’ ★★★★★ Mumbles Comedy    ‘Brilliantly observed’ The Herald \nManchester’s Dan Tiernan is making big waves on the circuit despite only being in his mid-twenties. He was cruelly beaten into third place by a ventriloquist and a Donny Osmond impersonator. You can’t keep a good man down though and Steve’s love of making people laugh rivals that of his affections for Liverpool FC and Elvis Costello.  \n  By his late teens\, Steve was fifty per cent of comedy duo Skint Video just as something called ‘alternative comedy’ was beginning to infuriate the tabloids.. The next few years became a blur of festivals\, student unions\, miners benefits\, appearances at Britain’s first dedicated comedy clubs and even on the telly! Proper telly. When it had four channels. Saturday Night Live\, The Mary Whitehouse Experience and even their own Radio One show.  \nAll good things come to an end and Skint Video was no different.
