Eddy Brimson, Bethany Black, David Eagle and MC Andy Robinson all at Bolton’s best night of live, stand up comedy!  Please scroll down for comedians’ details.

Acts subject to change. Proper swearing. 18+ Fully seated. We want everyone to have a great night so pop your mobile on silent and please don’t talk when the show is on. Sorry, but we can only refund or reallocate in event of the show being cancelled. Thanks!

Diamond geezer, Watford fan and stalwart of British comedy, Eddy Brimson has many strings to his bow. As well as being a much in demand comedian, he has penned several books on his first love of football including ‘Tear Gas And Ticket Touts’ and the ‘Hooligan’ series (alongside brother Dougie). Eddy is also an accomplished actor who has popped up in everything from Casualty to Absolutely Fabulous. He also played the arsonist who torched Frank Butcher’s business in East Enders and you don’t get much more geezer than that!

Well, where do we start when it comes to Bethany Black? We could tell you that Chorley’s funniest daughter is Britain’s only goth, lesbian, transsexual comedian but that was fully covered in her debut show – ‘Beth Becomes Her’.

As well as making people laugh a lot, Beth was spotted by Russell T Davis and played ‘Helen’ in Channel 4 series’ Cucumber, Banana and Tofu.

We could also tell you Beth is a bit of nerd and something of a Doctor Who fan but, how many Whovians can claim to have appeared in the show? Beth did in 2015 when she played 474.

This is all well and good but just how funny is she? Oh, don’t worry about that as the answer is ‘very’. Awards include winnning the 2020 Joe.co.uk comedy award and is British Comedy Guide recommended.

Okay, let’s get this straight before we go any further, David Eagle is a folk musician. Not just a folk musician but one good enough to make a living out of it. A bloody good folk musician. An accomplished folk musician.

The crazy, crazy bad ass world of folk has it’s downside though and when the cocaine and groupies got too much David bailed out and parachuted safely into stand up comedy. And, guess what? He’s a bloody good comic too. David has some class gags, routines and songs (well, if you already own an accordion you might as well do something with it.) and hardly even mentions folk music. Deliciously dark, quite twisted and devastatingly funny. Catch him soon.

“a comic tour de force.” The Guardian   “A genuine stand up rookie phenomenon! Looking forward to hearing more.” Reginald D Hunter

Your compere for the evening is Brum’s Andy Robinson who became a stand up quite accidentally as guitarist in ‘The Carpetsweepers‘ when his banter between songs reduced both the audience and his fellow musicians to hysterics.  Tour support includes Sean Lock, Rich Hall and regularly for Jo Brand who Andy has now worked with for many years.
